Defender Steve McNulty has left Witton Albion and retired from playing.
He is to take up the Assistant Manager’s role at Chester FC under Steve Watson, who he played under at York City.
McNulty, 39, has enjoyed an illustrious playing career, with promotions with Barrow, Fleetwood Town, Luton Town and Tranmere Rovers.
COVID hit last season with Albion looking good and hindered McNulty’s playing days with The Albs.
We wish Steve all the very best and thank him for his service.
