Witton Albion FC are looking for talented, committed and ambitious local footballers who wish to join a semi-professional academy in the Northern Premier League (NPL) where you will study for a BTEC in Sport qualification (Level 3), train every day with an UEFA qualified coach and play your games at NPL grounds where all games are filmed.
The Witton Albion ‘Education and Football Academy’ is part of the NPL Football Academy and is an alternative to college and is ideal for any 16-19 year olds who wants to gain a great education and develop as a footballer at the same time.
The NPL Football Academy is one of three leagues at step seven of the pyramid system that is a league wide education and football programme which also consists of the Southern League (theslfa.co.uk) and the Isthmian League (theilfa.co.uk). Together, they are part of the ESPFA (English Semi-Professional Football Academy) the overarching organisation of this unique concept.
Trials are held at various points throughout the year and you can register your interest now at nplfa.co.uk/register.
