Witton’s title-chasing Women’s team return to league action on Sunday afternoon when they travel to neighbours Middlewich Town Women.

Still unbeaten and with a healthy cushion at the top of the Cheshire Women’s Youth League Championship West table, Albion can go some way towards securing the title with victory in this fixture but will still need to put the work in to achieve it.

Nearest challengers Winsford Town Ladies are not in action this weekend so Witton have the opportunity to extend their lead at the top of the table.

Middlewich Town Women have only played six league games so far so have some catching up to do and will make things difficult for Witton but the determination and effort has been there for all to see and they will need all of that to get anything from the game.

Kick off at Seddon Street is 2pm.
