Central Defender, Warrington born on 29/10/90 who’s had 3 spells with Witton and at the end of last season had clocked up 306 appearances scoring 18 goals. Appointed Manager earlier this season and decided to come out of retirement to don the Witton shirt on again in early December
He commenced his football with local sides Barnton, Lostock Gralam and Mid-Cheshire College, joining us from the latter and debuting on 30/8/2010. Ben, Albion’s Player of the Year 12/13, chose to leave us for Nantwich at the end of December 2014. Making 20 appearances (1 goal), at the end of the season he briefly joined Telford United but re-joined the Dabbers, making a further 99 appearances (5 goals) by the end of the 16/17 campaign.
He then followed his Manager to Altrincham recording 54 appearances (2 goals). 18/19 saw him firstly on loan to Trafford before coming to us and notching 4 goals in 5 matches. Ben returned to Nantwich for the 18/19 season and racked up 50 more appearances before succumbing to injury in October 2021.
