6. Goalkeeper Records 1934-2024
From the start of the 1934/35 until the end of the 2023/24 season a total of 180 goalkeepers have been between Albion’s sticks. Of these 41 were just used the once whilst 24 more only made a couple of appearances. The list below shows the 72 stoppers’ records who made at least 10 appearances.
When looking at the ratio of keeping a clean sheet per appearance then 9 keepers were able to achieve one in under every 3 appearances, namely in success order: Kevin Donohue (Pictured), Brian Fitzgerald, Alex Clarke, Jon Kennedy, Ronnie Sinclair, Andy Newell, Bob Fletcher, Tony Yoxall & Calvin Hare.
