Witton Albion Football Club is pleased to announce open trials for its Junior Academy ahead of the 2026/27 season, alongside an exciting opportunity for qualified coaches to join the club’s growing development pathway.
Open Player Trials – U9 to U12
The club is inviting talented young players to attend its upcoming open trial sessions, offering a chance to train in a professional environment with UEFA-licensed coaches and compete in respected regional leagues.
U9 & U10 Trials
- Monday 27 April | 17:30 – 18:45
- Wednesday 13 May | 17:30 – 18:45
- Wednesday 27 May | 17:30 – 18:45
U11 & U12 Trials
- Tuesday 28 April | 17:30 – 18:45
- Thursday 14 May | 17:30 – 18:45
- Thursday 28 May | 17:30 – 18:45
Successful players will train twice per week under UEFA Licence coaches and represent the club in competitive league fixtures, including:
• Manchester Youth Super League (Sundays – U9 to U12)
• Junior Premier League (Saturdays – U11 to U18)
The academy also offers a clear pathway toward the semi-professional game and progression opportunities linked to the FA Youth Cup.
Coach Recruitment – Paid Roles Available
As part of its continued development, Witton Albion FC is also recruiting coaches for the 2026/27 season, starting July 2026.
The club is seeking:
• Lead Coaches (UEFA C and UEFA B qualified) – Paid roles
• Level 1 Assistant Coaches (working towards UEFA C)
This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious coaches to work within a structured academy environment focused on long-term player development and competitive progression.
