Witton Albion 4 - 1 Nantwich Town

The lads put on a top, top display especially in the second half as they took Nantwich to the proverbial cleaners.

We just about shaded the opening half where Tom Hoyle gave us an early lead but a clever corner by the visitors saw them equalise.
The second half was as good a show as we’ve seen for a while as we totally dominated and Alfie Bairstow soon restored the lead. Further goals from Joe and a penalty coolly converted by Freddie put the Albion family in dreamland.

It could have been more but it was a well satisfactory performance that broke the nearly year long sequence of failing to win consecutive league games.
MOM sponsor Phil Robinson selected Alfie as his choice which was well deserved.
