While we have faced challenges in recent times, we are determined to take the women’s game to another level within the Witton Albion family.
We are delighted to confirm the appointment of Chris Appleton as Head Coach of the women’s team. Alongside this, we have strengthened and fully integrated the women’s setup into the wider Witton Albion structure, ensuring it is firmly part of our club’s future.
As part of this commitment:
• Accessibility: We have removed the £20 per month subscription fee, making the women’s team open to all without financial barriers.
• Home Ground: Every home fixture will now be played at the U Lock It Stadium, giving our players the stage they deserve.
• Player Pathway: Trials will be held for new players eager to join this journey, and we warmly welcome back any former members of the Witton Albion women’s team who wish to be part of this exciting direction.
