Four clubs left at the end of the season – none of them surprises. Three of the bottom four opted out – the exception being Rusholme. Denton also left, deciding to pursue their future in the Lancashire Combination. Crewe Alexandra Reserves and Nantwich both joined the Manchester League which returned to its 16-club format.
